Our engineered* floating shelves are warranted against warping, sagging, splitting, cracking, or fading under normal use for five (5) years from the date of purchase.

Coverage

• Warping or bending

• Sagging or structural failure

• Splitting, cracking, or delamination

• Fading or discoloration from normal indoor light exposure

Pro-Rata Adjustment

This limited warranty provides 100% coverage during the first year from the date of purchase. Thereafter, coverage decreases by 15% per year, calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the prevailing purchase price at the time of the claim.

For example, a claim filed in the third year of ownership would be eligible for 70% coverage of the prevailing purchase price, subject to inspection and approval.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, alteration, or accidents

• Exposure to excessive moisture, heat, or direct sunlight

• Normal wear and tear, minor surface imperfections, or variations in color and texture

• Electrical components such as lights, drivers, or sensors beyond 90 days from purchase

Trade and Commercial Use

Products purchased for trade, commercial, or professional installation are covered under the same five-year limited term and pro-rata schedule; however, coverage is limited to replacement of materials only. Labor, removal, and reinstallation costs are not covered under trade or commercial use.

Limitations of Liability

This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for any claim related to our products. Gentry Stinson shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to costs of removal, reinstallation, labor, loss of use, or lost profits. No other warranties - express or implied - including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose—apply beyond the terms stated herein.

*Natural wood plank shelves are excluded due to their inherent variability in grain, movement, and environmental response.
