At Gentry Stinson LLC, we believe in complete transparency and fairness in every part of our process, from how each shelf is built to how it’s priced, packaged, and delivered. This Shipping Policy outlines our coverage areas, delivery options, timelines, and how our FOB Phoenix pricing model ensures that every customer pays only for the true value of their order and its actual freight cost.

1. Shipping Coverage

We currently ship within the continental United States (48 contiguous states) only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO addresses, or P.O. boxes.

International shipping is available to approved trade accounts only and must be arranged prior to order placement. All international buyers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, and related costs, which are not included in product or shipping prices.

Freight shipments to commercial addresses or job sites are available for large or oversized orders. Please contact us for a quote and delivery coordination.

2. FOB Phoenix Pricing

All published prices are quoted FOB Phoenix, Arizona (Free On Board Phoenix). This pricing structure ensures you pay only for the product itself, with shipping calculated separately based on your location, preferred carrier, and delivery method.

What “FOB Phoenix” Means

  • Product pricing includes all costs up to the point the order leaves our Phoenix facility.

  • Ownership transfers to the buyer upon pickup or carrier handoff.

  • Shipping, insurance, and handling are itemized separately.

  • You may use your own carrier or have us arrange shipping at the carrier’s actual cost.

This is the most transparent and equitable method for made-to-order products, where shipping variables can fluctuate widely.

    Fuel and freight rates change constantly. FOB Phoenix pricing keeps our product pricing stable and unaffected by those fluctuations.

    Your invoice clearly lists:

    • Product Subtotal (FOB Phoenix): Material, craftsmanship, and finishing

    • Freight Charge: If we coordinate shipment for you

  5. Trade-Friendly Flexibility
    Designers, architects, and builders often prefer to manage their own freight. Our structure supports trade workflows and consolidated project shipping.

  6. Honest Online Checkout
    Direct consumer orders show two separate line items:

    • Product Total (FOB Phoenix)

    • Shipping Charge (automatically calculated or quoted)

4. Shipping Costs

Standard Orders
Shipping is calculated at checkout or quoted based on your destination, weight, and carrier rate. Typical UPS Ground rates for individual shelves range $25–$60 depending on distance.

Freight Orders (LTL)
Large or heavy orders may ship by freight. Liftgate or residential surcharges may apply. Optional delivery services (inside delivery, scheduled appointments, etc.) are billed at carrier rates.

Local Pickup
Available at our Phoenix facility by appointment.

Trade Freight Options
Registered trade customers may select Freight Collect or Bill to My Account for direct carrier billing.

5. Processing & Delivery Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. Custom orders begin processing only after all design approvals and full payment are received.

  • Standard Ground Delivery: 3–7 business days after shipment

  • Freight Delivery: 5–10 business days, depending on destination and carrier scheduling

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to weather, carrier performance, or other factors beyond our control.

6. Tracking Your Order

You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your order ships. Freight orders include a PRO number for carrier-site tracking. Orders with multiple boxes may have multiple tracking numbers.

7. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect or incomplete addresses.

If a package is returned due to an address error, redelivery fees will apply.
Carrier rerouting requests after shipment may incur additional address-correction charges.

8. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your order appears lost or arrives damaged:

  1. Verify the tracking status.

  2. Contact us within 7 days of expected delivery or receipt.

  3. Include your order number, photos, and a description of the issue.

For freight deliveries, note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing and keep all packaging for inspection. Claims filed after 7 days may be denied by the carrier.

9. Signature Requirements

For security and insurance purposes, certain shipments may require a signature upon delivery. If you’re unavailable, the carrier will leave a notice or attempt redelivery. Please monitor tracking to ensure someone is present to receive the shipment.

10. Shipping Delays

Delays may occur due to:

  • Severe weather or natural disasters

  • Carrier disruptions or volume surges

  • Incorrect or incomplete address information

  • Remote or extended-area delivery schedules

We work proactively with carriers to minimize these disruptions but cannot assume liability for factors beyond our control.
