Production Lead Time vs. Shipping Time

These are two different time periods. Production lead time is the time required for Gentry Stinson to manufacture, finish, inspect, and package your order. Shipping time begins only after the completed order leaves our Phoenix facility and is in the carrier's network.

Current Standard Production Lead Time

Our current standard production lead time is running approximately one week from the time we accept a finalized order until the order is completed and ready to ship.

This estimate applies to standard configured products under normal production conditions. It is measured in business days and therefore does not include weekends or company-observed holidays.

When the Production Clock Starts

Production lead time begins after the order is fully accepted for production. For most standard ecommerce orders, that means the order has been placed, payment is confirmed, and the selected dimensions, finish, color, veneer, lighting preparation, and other options are complete.

For custom, trade, or project-specific orders requiring drawings, approvals, samples, finish matching, or other pre-production decisions, the production clock begins only after those requirements are complete and the order is released to manufacturing.

What Can Extend Production Lead Time?

Approximately one week is our current standard target, not an absolute delivery guarantee. Additional production time may be required for:

• large-quantity or multi-item orders;
• custom dimensions, custom engineering, or non-standard configurations;
• custom colors, finish matching, samples, or approval cycles;
• material availability or special-order materials;
• changes requested after the order has been accepted;
• holidays, scheduled factory closures, or unusual production demand;
• conditions outside our reasonable control.

If an order has a materially different production schedule, we will communicate that in the product information, order acknowledgement, quotation, or direct project correspondence.

Shipping Time Starts After Production

When an order is marked complete and ready to ship, the production portion is finished. Carrier transit time begins only after the carrier receives the shipment.

Typical carrier transit times vary by destination and shipment type. Parcel shipments commonly require several business days in transit. Oversized or LTL freight shipments can require additional transit and appointment time.

Carrier transit estimates are not included in the approximately one-week production lead time.

Example

If we accept your finalized order on a Monday and standard production takes approximately one week, the order may be ready to ship around the following Monday, excluding holidays or other stated exceptions. If the carrier then requires four business days for delivery, your total elapsed time is roughly the production period plus the four-day transit period.

Expedited Shipping Does Not Expedite Production

Selecting an expedited carrier service affects only transit time after the product is completed. It does not move the order ahead in the production schedule unless Gentry Stinson separately agrees in writing to an expedited production arrangement.

Order Status & Tracking

Once your order ships, tracking information is provided when available. Parcel orders may use one or more tracking numbers. Freight orders may use a PRO number and may require a delivery appointment.
